Most of the information consumers, including those with special dietary needs, can be found on food labels, including milled cereal grain products. Food labels contain detailed information about the nutrients that are present in the food, the food energy content, ingredients, possible presence of food allergens and more.

Health Canada's web pages provide an overview and explain how to use the Nutrition Facts Table found on most packaged foods, including foods made from cereal grains such as wheat flour, oat meal, breads and other bakery products, pasta, breakfast cereals, cookies and crackers.
