The Canadian National Millers Association is a national, not-for-profit industry association representing the Canadian cereal grain milling industry. CNMA member companies are processors of wheat, oats, rye and other cereal grains producing a wide range of milled grain products.

Olivier Lavigne-Lacroix named as successor in the role of President of the Canadian National Millers Association.


Ottawa, Canada, June 22, 2022 – The Canadian National Millers Association’s (CNMA) Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Olivier Lavigne-Lacroix of T. Bjornson & Associates Consulting Inc. will succeed Gordon Harrison as President of the Canadian National Millers Association.


Olivier will be joining Gordon and working closely with him and the Board as of July 1st, 2022, to facilitate the leadership transition. He will officially assume his new responsibilities as of August 1st, 2022. Gordon will be retiring at the end of August, after serving as CNMA’s President for 30 years.


Olivier brings more than ten years of experience in the public and private sectors focusing on agricultural public policy advocacy, regulatory affairs, and stakeholder engagement. He is known for his strong collaborative approach and capacity to build bridges amongst partners in the Canadian agriculture and agri-food sector. Prior to joining Bjornson & Associates, Olivier worked with Cargill Limited’s public affairs team Olivier holds a master’s in political science from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. He is also a former member of the Board of Directors of Food and Beverage Ontario.
